Fourth of July!

Fun times with friends and fireworks for the Fourth of July. I don't have any photos of the Scotts Valley fireworks cause my camera just won't get them great and give them justice. But we were like right under them, great views!

LA LA Land!

Was in LA last weekend visiting my friend Rachel Tanner! Had a great warm weekend down there! With the current events, we even got to go by Michael Jackson's star in Hollywood and see the memorials and memories left there for him.

SCBC Father's Day Car & Motorcycle Show and Chili Cook-Off!

This year at SCBC we had the first Car & Motorcycle Show and Chili Cook-Off! And I think it was a hit! I helped organize it along with our Men's Ministry here. Wonderful day for the dads and the whole community!

month of May = Laura sick!

Okay I don't get sick that often but this year I got something and it stuck with me for the whole month of May! Still have a little bit right now, but nothing like before. It started as a common cold that later turned into a sinus infection and hard time breathing a little bit. After going to the doctor twice and finally getting antibiotics and two inhalers, and being on a lot of cold medicine and resting, I think the majority of it is done. But this also happened when the whole scare of the Swine Flu was going around and I had to keep telling people "No, it is not the swine flu." I realized that man I hate being sick!

Celebrating Mother's Day and 97 years of life!

It was great having my parents down this past week in California. Even though I was sick and try to get over this silly cold! We all got to celebrate Mother's Day together and myGrandma Rodgers 97th year of life! We all had a good time! We even had a pinyata filled with candy, lotto tickets and money! I got a $1 bill from it :), that all. Great family time!

We had a blessed Easter Weekend here in Santa Cruz! Here are just a few of the many photos that share the events that happend that weekend through Santa Cruz Bible Church. It includes a Good Friday Service, Easter Egg Hunt, Sunrise Service and Easter Sunday! One busy weekend, but amazing! :)

Here are a few snap shots from this week in Romania! Yesturday we had a great time with some Romanian International Medical Students! We made lunch together, played games together and we showed them around the farm at Caminul Felix. Was a wonderful Saturday afternoon!

Friday night I also got to hang out with some of the teenagers from Caminul Felix. We took them out bowling and for pizza. I learned that in Romania when you go bowling, you don't have to wear those funny bowling shoes! We really had a good time!
