A verse for when you are camping . . . . :)

I went to this English speaking church today that is connected with the Vineyard Church and has a pastor from the U.K. It had about 40 people there and they did the service mainly in English but also translated into Romanian. Was a fun experience. I guess some of their church had just done a mission trip out to some of the gypies villages a couple of hours away and most of the time was camping and I guess it was very hot for them. They were telling stories about it in the services today and talking about the amazing things that happened and the funny little stories too. Of course one of the stories was about having no bathrooms and having to just "go" outside. And they brought this verse up, to go along with the story. And it was pretty funny, it is in the bible!

"Designate a place outside the camp where you can go to relieve yourself. As part of your equipment have something to dig with, and when you relieve yourself, dig a hole and cover up your excrement."

Deuteronomy 23:12 & 13

It is used in a different sense, but it was so funny to see these verses go along with their story! Didn't know those verses were in the bible like that! :)

Remember when you go camping . . . . . always bring a shovel! :)
